Mrs. Joe

Mrs. Joe is very controlling character that seems to take a certain level of enjoyment from hitting and demoralizing her subjects. We see her in many cases attacking others, both physically and verbally, without holding back at all. In the particular quote, we see Mrs. Joe hitting Joe around. Her controlling personality is hard to miss looking at her actions-she is extremely controlling over Joe and takes her time with her actions. In the quote, she "..knocked his head for a little while against the wall". She didn't just knock his head and walk away, she continuously did so. Mrs. Joe doesn't have the occasional mood swing rather she seems to always be unhappy and aggressive, ready to hit anything that moves or gets in her way. Without a doubt, Mrs. Joe takes great pleasure from attacking her subjects and shows no sense of control much of the time.
